Our company, BizBuy Resource Group, LLC, educates people on the business buying process. The driving force to form this company was to provide a service that helps people make informed decisions and have a greater chance of success at small business ownership. The partners have over 75 years of business brokerage, small business ownership and corporate experience. Their broad and varied business experience provides examples and situations applicable to seminar participants’ situations. This experience and expertise enabled the partners to transform a complex subject into an understandable and actionable process.

Mike Stuhldrehrer...

Mike is also owner of BizForSell.com and Diverse Business Brokers LLC. Michael has been a business broker in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex since 1993 and has successfully completed hundreds of business transactions. His background brings over twenty years of management experience with small to mid-size businesses in manufacturing, service, retailing, and the restaurant industries. His strong appreciation and respect for the business owner stems from his involvement with the day-to-day operations and start up of over seventeen companies. Michael graduated from Pikes Peak Community College of Colorado Springs with a BA in Business Administration, specializing in Finance/Marketing. He has completed several certifications in the field of business brokerage, business valuation practices and methodologies of valuing a business, diversity training, management training, assessment training, hiring and retention of personnel, inventory control, and marketing.

Clay Tarpley...

Clay has unique experience through assisting people with career transitions as well as personal experience in buying businesses. Clay received a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and spent 22 years with a Fortune 25 firm in operations management and organizational transition leadership. His operational experience included strategic planning, leading diversity, quality improvement initiatives, and transitioning traditional work systems to high performing teams. He focused for 10 years on assisting individuals in executing successful career transitions, including 3 years as a principal in his own firm. He is currently an owner of Diverse Business Brokers and he understands the emotional transition involved with career change as well as the decision making process to buy a business.

Amie Lay...

Amie is a partner in the BizBuy Resource Group and brings a variety of skill sets. Her career is split between corporate management positions and starting and running a small business. She holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University and began her career in manufacturing management. Her leadership positions included operational, organizational and technical responsibilities, which provided insight and opportunity to develop training to meet a diverse range of employee needs. After leaving the corporate world she started her own firm and has completed many training projects in industries such as retail, customer service, manufacturing, financial and the medical field. Her expertise in the training and development field provided the instructional design and overall training coordination for this seminar. In addition, she has worked with many small business owners and understands the daily issues and decisions they face.
